This Service Provider Agreement (“Agreement”) outlines the terms under which service providers (“You,” “Your,” or “Provider”) may advertise services on RestorationHub.
By creating a service listing, you agree to the following:
1. Independent Contractor Status
You acknowledge that:
- You are an independent business.
- You are not an employee, agent, partner, or representative of RestorationHub.
- You operate entirely at your own direction, expense, and risk.
2. Accuracy of Information
You agree that:
- All business details, licenses, documents, photos, descriptions, and claims you provide are accurate and truthful.
- You will update your listing immediately if any information becomes outdated or invalid.
3. Licensing and Insurance Requirements
You represent and warrant that:
- You possess all licenses, permits, certifications, and insurance required to perform the services you offer.
- You will maintain such requirements throughout your time on the platform.
RestorationHub may request proof at any time.
4. No Endorsement or Guarantee
You understand that:
- RestorationHub does not endorse, guarantee, or certify your services.
- Users are solely responsible for selecting and hiring providers.
5. User Interactions & Liability
You are fully responsible for:
- Your conduct
- Your services
- Your employees or subcontractors
- Any damages, errors, or claims that arise
RestorationHub is not involved in the negotiation, performance, payment, or quality of any services.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Misrepresent your business
- Post fraudulent or misleading information
- Harass users
- Provide unsafe or illegal services
- Impersonate another business
7. Fees and Payments
If applicable, listing or advertising fees:
- Are non-refundable
- Must be paid before your listing is published
Future paid features may be added with separate terms.
8. Termination
RestorationHub may suspend or remove your listing for:
- Violations of this Agreement
- Fraudulent behavior
- Unsafe practices
- User complaints
- Legal concerns
We may do so without notice.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold RestorationHub harmless from:
- Claims
- Losses
- Damages
- Lawsuits
- Liability caused by your services, actions, or omissions
10. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by U.S. law.
VERIFICATION POLICY
RestorationHub performs limited verification on certain service providers.
1. What We MAY Verify
Depending on the category, we may request:
- Business licenses
- Insurance documents
- USDOT/MC numbers
- ID verification
- Portfolio samples
2. What We DO NOT Guarantee
Verification does not mean:
- Endorsement
- Certification
- Guarantee of service quality
- Guarantee of legality
- Ongoing compliance
Users must conduct their own due diligence.
3. Periodic Checks
We may periodically request updated:
- Licenses
- Insurance
- Credentials
Failure to provide updates may result in badge revocation or listing suspension.
